Tesla Model 3 with MF04 Forged Wheels: A Custom Experience
How a red Tesla Model 3 Performance was transformed with lightweight bronze MF-04 wheels.
The MF-04 is lightweight and forged from high-grade aluminium, offering strength and reduced weight for better handling and efficiency. Its multi-spoke design is sporty and elegant, while custom colours allow a Model 3 to stand apart.
The customization journey
MJR's team recommended 19-inch MF-04 wheels for a Model 3 Performance used for street driving and occasional track use. To match the red paint, we selected a gloss bronze finish with a matte black inner barrel.
After four to five weeks of production, the wheels arrived and installation was smooth. Fitment was spot-on with no hub issues.
On the road
Each MF-04 wheel weighs around 8.5 kg, lighter than the stock wheels. Steering response and cornering feel sharper, acceleration feels snappier and range loss is minimal.
The bronze finish pops against the red paint, giving the Tesla a fierce, custom character. Custom finishes need gentle cleaning, so avoid abrasive cleaners.
